Academy Manager / L&D Associate Director (RM Excellence Academy) - Gurugram
Focus: RM Excellence Academy & Holistic Organizational Development
Job Purpose
- To lead the RM Excellence Academy focusing on the end-to-end competency development of Relationship Managers (RMs). You will be responsible for scaling the firms human capital through structured learning paths leadership development and digital learning adoption.
Key Responsibilities
- Academy Strategy: Design and execute the blueprint for the RM Excellence Academy to ensure RMs reach peak productivity within 90 days of joining.(it also covers holistic people development for entire
- Curriculum Design: Develop multi-tiered learning paths (Basic Advanced Elite) covering portfolio Management Client Psychology and Wealth Products.
- Needs Analysis: Partner with Business Heads to identify performance gaps and design interventions that move the needle on AUM (Assets Under Management).
- L&D Tech Stack: Oversee the implementation and engagement of the LMS (Learning Management System) for mobile-first learning.
- Stakeholder Management: Act as a strategic partner to the CXO suite to align L&D initiatives with the firms annual revenue goals.
Over all-
- Business Partnership: Collaborating with the CEO COO and Department Heads to understand 1-3 year growth plans.
- Gap Analysis: Identifying the delta between current workforce skills and the skills needed for future expansion.
- ROI Modeling: Developing frameworks to measure how L&D interventions impact thebottom line (e.g. increased sales reduced churn or faster onboarding).
- Modern Pedagogy: Implementing theModel (70% on-the-job 20% social/coaching 10% formal training).
- Employer Branding: Positioning the company as a learning organization to attract top-tier talent.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Time-to-Productivity: Reduce the average number of days it takes for a new RM to close their first high-ticket deal.
- Training ROI: Correlation between training attendance and increase in RM revenue/AUM productivity.
- Adoption Rate: % of the workforce actively engaging with the RM Excellence Academy digital content.
- Retention Rate: Improvement in retention scores of high-performing RMs linked to career development paths.
Qualifications (must have)
- 8 yrs L&D leadership; 3 yrs BFSI/wealth mgmt. 5-8 years for the Sr. Trainer.
- AMFI certified; Train-the-Trainer certification
- Gurugram/Haryana networks for RM sourcing
- MS Excel advanced; LMS/CRM proficient
- Domain Knowledge: Deep understanding of the Indian Wealth Management landscape including AIFs PMS and Equity markets.
