Job Summary

APRA AMCOS is a member-owned music rights management organisation positioned at the intersection of music data and technology. We have more than 124000 members who are songwriters composers and music publishers. We license organisations to play perform copy or record our members music and we distribute the royalties to our members.

Multi Territory Licensing (MTL) has recently expanded into a multi-hub facility and is undergoing transformations in processes and systems. MTL delivers a comprehensive end-to-end service for the administration of digital music services on behalf of MTL hub rightsholders. This includes ingesting and maintaining repertoire licensing processing digital sales files research claiming dispute resolution client management rightsholder relationships invoicing and distribution.


The International Business Partner will collaborate closely with MTL team to support the delivery of strategic business objectives and process enhancements.


This role is a fixed- term position reporting to the Director International Licensing.


The role is based in our Ultimo office which is on Gadigal land.

As an International Business Partner your responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborate on managing digital licensing processes including client onboarding account setup and ensuring compliance with DSP reporting and payment requirements.
  • Maintain accurate operational records spreadsheets and databases; process claims resolve disputes and prepare client invoices.
  • Support repertoire management by onboarding rightsholders validating registrations and ensuring metadata integrity.
  • Assist with distribution tasks including preparing files for publishers and societies resolving queries and maintaining distribution data.
  • Conduct research on work ownership global rates and potential clients; contribute to database testing and improvements.
  • Collaborate across teams to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery of music-related services.



To thrive in this role youll need:

  • A deep understanding of copyright and work registrations
  • Proficiency in a regional Asian language desirable but not essential
  • Ability to develop and maintain positive client relations.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Manage priorities and work to strict timelines
