About the role and Team
We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Credit Controller to join our friendly firm. We are looking for someone who is proactive well organised and has the drive and capacity to succeed. The position will report to the Working Capital Manager.
While this role is based in our Sydney CBD office at Bartier Perry we all have the opportunity to work flexibly and remotely.
This position Involves:
Working closely with our Credit Controller Partners and the Finance team
Managing the collection of our outstanding invoices
Arranging payment plans and payment terms
Updating details in our practice management system
Assist in the reconciliation of complex accounts
Assisting with Accounts Receivables responsibilities
About you
You will be a mature minded proactive team player who has attention to detail and the ability to work both independently and in a team environment. You will need to demonstrate:
Ideally 5 years of experience in a similar position ideally in legal services or professional services
Ability to build strong relationships with key client contacts
Confidence in making outbound calls and engaging with clients to resolve issues
Initiative and independence in resolving account matters
Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail
Ability to work as part of a team
Familiarity with Aderant Expert or similar legal/accounting practice management systems
