Job Summary

Our Emerging Talent Programs which includes Interns and Trainees offer unique opportunities for students recent graduates and emerging talent to work alongside the teams that come together to create movies TV shows and other great experiences. These seasonal paid assignments provide meaningful and productive work that builds on your experience and develops your skills further. You will be provided with challenging tasks real-world experience and many educational and social networking opportunities.

This Spring Internship is from January 12 20 or 26 2026 through April 24th 2026 (start and end dates are flexible based on school schedules) and all candidates must be able to work 10-29 hours/week in person in the specified office location. This position is ideal for a student enrolled in an accredited college or university interested in continuing their education through professional experience.

The SPT photo team falls within SPT Creative Marketing. We oversee end-to-end production for all episodic gallery and event photography partnering with the shows network or streaming service. This includes working closely with show production hiring photographers managing large volumes of file deliveries editing and retouching approved photography assets and much more!
We service a growing group of internal Sony Pictures Entertainment partners and projects including but not limited to Sales & Distribution Brand & Digital Marketing Game Show Division (Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy!) Sony Global Marketing Publicity etc.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ingesting and QCing photography

  • Adding metadata to photos in DF Studio

  • Creating wide edits of photography (reviewing large volumes of photos and selecting the best images)

  • Additional work as the Photo Director sees fit

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Currently enrolled in school or university during the duration of the internship with relevant education in a related field

  • Knowledge of photo management systems plus an aptitude for learning new programs

  • Proficiency using Photoshop and/or Lightroom and the Microsoft office suite is a plus

  • Strong organizational and communication skills

  • Ability to take initiative and can quickly adapt to changing mandates and priorities

  • Passion for photography and the entertainment industry

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Background in photo editing and organization

The anticipated base salary for this position is $19/hour. This role may also qualify for comprehensive benefits. The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors including without limitation the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position years of relevant experience level of education attained certifications or other professional licenses held and if applicable the location of the position.
