This position is based in Tucson AZ and we are seeking candidates who are local to the Tucson area.
Job Description
We are seeking a geotechnical/ geological engineering intern to join our consulting group based in Tucson AZ. This job requires the applicant to be locally based in Tucson AZ.
- Office work will include:
- Data reduction including stereographic statistical and geospatial analyses
- Technical reporting and documentation of field work and analysis work
- Laboratory testing performing and assisting with soil and rock strength testing
- Local Field Work (if applicable):
- site characterization
- geologic/geotechnical mapping
- geomechanical core logging
Qualifications :
- Actively pursuing Bachelors or Masters degree in geology geological engineering geotechnical engineering or mining engineering.
- 0-5 years experience
- All candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S
Additional Information :
Schedule: part time not to exceed 30 hours per week normal business hours.
