About the Role

The MedSurg Project Manager Magellan Program is a Senior Manager responsible for driving alignment and execution across our Finance Commercial R&D Clinical Quality and Regulatory teams in support of the Magellan Business Transformation program. The Magellan program is a value-driven business transformation evolving all segments of Boston Scientifics global business during the process of implementing SAP S/4HANA. This role plays a pivotal part in ensuring seamless business continuity operational excellence and strong governance throughout the transformation journey.

As a strategic leader and integrator the Project Manager will partner across all Magellan program teams to identify and mitigate business continuity risks within end-to-end business processesbalancing efficiency compliance and control.

Work model sponsorship relocation:

At Boston Scientific we value collaboration and synergy. This role follows a hybrid work model requiring employees to be at one of our local offices (In Marlbrough MA / Arden Hills or Maple Grove MN / Valencia CA) at least three days per week.

Key Responsibilities

General Project Management

• Responsible for driving execution of cross-functional business initiatives through the Magellan program. This role requires strong coordination communication and leadership across multiple divisions stakeholders and project streams within a highly matrixed organization.
• Develop and manage integrated project plans timelines and resources across workstreams.
• Act as a liaison and influencer helping to resolve differences between stakeholders drive consensus and support problem-solving to remove roadblocks.
• Deliver regular updates and presentations to executive sponsors key stakeholders and project team members summarizing milestones risks and decisions.

SAP and System Integration

• Leverage expertise in SAP to facilitate system integration data governance and process mapping
• Simulate future-state environments and support system-related business readiness.
• Collaborate with the Magellan PMO team subject matter experts solution architects and super users to ensure alignment and implementation success.

Governance and Risk Management

• Ensure adherence to Magellans standard processes timelines and deliverables through proactive governance and status reporting.
• Identify assess and manage project risks implementing mitigation strategies to minimize disruption and maintain project continuity.

Process Improvement and Change Adoption

• Promote and support opportunities to leverage technology including process mapping modeling mining and intelligent automation to enhance solutions.
• Partner with leaders champions and employees to share best practices and accelerate the adoption of standardized harmonized processes.

Required Qualifications

• BS/BA Degree in Business Engineering or related field and/or equivalentexperience
• 5 years technical professional or operational experience in medical device field
• 5 years of project or program management skills
• Working knowledge of SAP systemsand SAP implementation

Preferred Qualifications

• Proven adaptability comfortable with change and with a demonstrated ability to react and respond to a fast-changing environment
• Strong interpersonal communication and presentation skills

The anticipated compensation listed above and the value of core and optional employee benefits offered by Boston Scientific (BSC) see vary based on actual location of the position and other pertinent factors considered in determining actual compensation for the role. Compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training pertinent education including licensure and certifications among other relevant business or organizational needs. At BSC it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the anticipated salary range listed above.

Compensation for non-exempt (hourly) non-sales roles may also include variable compensation from time to time (e.g. any overtime and shift differential) and annual bonus target (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).

Compensation for exempt non-sales roles may also include variable compensation i.e. annual bonus target and long-term incentives (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).
