Job Description:
The Aircraft Maintenance Requirements Engine Coordinator monitors tracks and verifies life limited parts including engines APUs LRUs and other components. This position ensure major components are accurately identified and documented and movement status of removed/reinstalled major components are promptly entered in CAMP. You will research and track inspections SBs and ADs coming due on components including life support and then make recommendations to the customer. Perform role as engine APU and landing gear configuration manager.
Essential Functions:
- Planning

- Update Logistics report containing status and maintenance projections on engines accessories and aircraft. Provide regular reports to Program Office and Customer.
- Monitor the effectiveness of the Maintenance Plan to include all inspections servicing tasks and component time change requirements. Review resulting write ups to spot problem areas and adjust the plan accordingly with Customer approval.
- Review aircraft and component technical data such as SLs NPRMs FARs FTDs and MTIPs. Determine relevance and distribute to interested parties.
- Create local inspection work cards for aircraft repair and Mod Instructions for Continued Airworthiness (ICAs)
- Coordinate with OEM on aircraft engines and component issues.
- Develop and maintain Maintenance Requirements Document for upcoming C Checks or scheduled drop in modification visits.
- Sample CAMP data for accuracy.
- Provide around the clock technical support to Field Team Engineering Program Office Procurement Planning Production Quality and Customer.
- Coordinate with OEM on Aircraft structural and modification issues through use of Service Request (SR) forms.
- Prepare Access List and Monthly Logistics Report and distribute.
- Maintain Airworthiness Directives (AD) Assessment Matrix
- Maintain Cyclic: 5-year funding roadmap and 7-year maintenance roadmap.
- Maintain Aircraft Health of the Fleet Reliability Report.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related lieu of a degree minimum of 8 years of prior related experience.
- Active Secret security clearance
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Boeing 757 Aircraft Maintenance Experience
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in aircraft engine management or Aircraft maintenance
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license
- Working Knowledge of FAA requirements
- Familiar with Commercial Aircraft Manuals
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite
- Self-starter able to work with minimal direction.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Proficient in the use of maintenance management software. (CAMP Preferred)
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
