About the Role
Join our compassionate and skilled team at Mercy Medical Center as aCardiac Monitor Technician. In this vital role youll support physicians and nurses by providing continuous cardiac monitoring and accurate rhythm interpretation for patients with a variety of medical conditions.
Key Responsibilities
Perform advanced ECG monitoring and interpret cardiac rhythms and dysrhythmias.
Identify life-threatening arrhythmias and initiate emergency protocols.
Record rhythms during code situations and provide accurate interval measurements.
Troubleshoot monitoring equipment and resolve technical issues.
Educate patients and families to ensure transparency and understanding of care.
Support nursing staff and perform additional duties as assigned by the Nurse Manager.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required.
CPR/BLS certification required (American Heart Association accepted; American Red Cross preferred).
Ability to pass background checks and drug screenings.
Prior experience in cardiac monitoring or telemetry preferred.

Pay Range:$17.50 - $24.65
Pay is based on experience skills and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
