Job Summary:
The purpose of a laundromat manager is to oversee the daily operations of a laundromat ensuring the facility runs smoothly and efficiently. Their responsibilities typically include maintaining equipment managing staff handling customer service issues keeping the premises clean and safe and managing inventory such as detergent or change for machines. They also monitor income and expenses to help ensure the business remains profitable. Ultimately a laundromat manager helps create a clean functional and welcoming environment for customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee Daily operations: Manage all aspects of the laundromat ensuring smooth operations and high-quality service.
- Hire train and supervise attendants.
- Create and manage employee schedules to ensure adequate coverage.
- Maintain inventory of detergents cleaning supplies and vending items.
- Order supplies and manage vendor relationships.
- Ensure the laundromat is clean safe and welcoming at all times.
- Enforce health and safety regulations.
- Monitor cash flow handle deposits and manage petty cash.
- Track revenue and expenses and report to finance or upper management.
- Ability to generate and manage invoices for commercial and repeat customers.
- Track payments follow up on outstanding balances and maintain accurate billing records.
- Operate and maintain point-of-sale systems and laundry management software.
- Monitor surveillance systems and security protocols.
- Identifies and engages with potential business and customers to create additional business. This role will require market research and content development skills to fill our sales pipeline with qualified leads
- Ensure wash-and-fold turnaround times are met consistently
- Perform all other duties as assigned to support operations.
