Summary
The Manager Patient Registration provides leadership and operational oversight for the hospital registration workflows ensuring a high level of accuracy timeliness and patient satisfaction across all registration types. This leader is responsible for planning and coordinating staffing to meet patient demand monitoring daily workflow and addressing coverage gaps to maintain excellent customer services standards.
The Manager partners closely with the Manager Access Coordination & Scheduling to align registration processes with referral scheduling and pre registration workflows ensuring that patients experience a smooth transition from order entry to service completion. The Manager Patient Registration monitors performance trends identify opportunities to eliminate bottlenecks and implement coordinated solutions that advance the overall Patient Access strategy.
Position Qualifications
Minimum Education High School Graduation or Equivalent with current computer technology and knowledge of medical terminology.
Preferred Education Courses or training in health care related field certification in Patient Access
Minimum Experience 4 years of job-related experience in Patient Access Revenue Cycle or other Healthcare related field with at least 1 year in a leadership role.
Preferred Experience 5 years experience in Patient Access Revenue Cycle or other Healthcare related field with 3 years in a leadership role.
