The Amazon Artificial General Intelligence (AGI) team is seeking for an experienced Team Manager to join our operations to develop manage and support our team with speech and language solutions.

Key job responsibilities
Manage job assignment on a day-to-day basis monitoring performance on job or queue adherence volume and quality

Support hiring and training of new Associates

Ensure productivity is maximized through supervision training analysis and feedback of performance data on a periodic basis

Develop the work schedule for the week by balancing work across various workflows and/or navigating competing delivery priorities

Liaise with Program Management and other global operations team leads to manage risks & propose mitigation strategies

Track quality and utilization metrics

File and track tickets following up on blocks to productivity

Provide regular formal & informal feedback to direct reports

Identify and help implement process-related improvement using methodologies such as Kaizen six sigma or lean

- Bachelor Degree or advanced college education or experience in a Leadership or related position with management
- Basic-level proficiency in English (B1 or equivalent fluency by Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) standards). *(for non english lang/locale combos only)*
- Experience managing a team or a group of people while supporting projects/programs

- Leadership experience in coaching and performance management
- Ability to adapt well to fast-paced environments with changing circumstances direction and strategy
- Demonstrated ability to lead diverse talent within a team work cross-functionally and build consensus on difficult issues
- Advanced-level proficiency in multiple languages (C1 or equivalent fluency by Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) standards).

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $47500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $101000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity sign-on payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
