As a Manufacturing Engineering Intern you will support our production teams under the guidance of our Manufacturing Engineers. This hands-on internship provides an excellent opportunity to gain real-world experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will work on process improvement initiatives tooling and fixturing design quality analysis and lean manufacturing projects.

Essential Functions/Job Responsibilities:

Tooling & Fixturing Design Assist in designing and improving tooling and fixtures to enhance manufacturing efficiency and precision.

Process Database Development Support the creation and maintenance of process documentation work instructions and best practices.

Process Improvement & Troubleshooting Identify and address production bottlenecks inefficiencies and defects.

Quality Defect Analysis Investigate root causes of quality defects and recommend corrective actions.

Lean Manufacturing Initiatives Participate in lean events to reduce setup times optimize workflow and improve shop floor organization.

Tooling & Workstation Organization Assist in organizing tooling and workstations to improve efficiency and reduce downtime.

Collaboration Work closely with engineers machinists and production staff to implement improvements.

Education and/or Experience:

High school diploma or GED with ongoing studies in an Associates or Bachelors degree program in Mechanical Engineering Mechanical Engineering Technology or a related field.

Familiarity with AutoCAD SolidWorks and PLM/PDM systems is preferred

Pay Range:

20.70 - 25.30
