Job Summary

Role: Manufacturing Engineer

Location Milpitas CA

Customer: J&J- DePuy Synthes

JD:

Principal Manufacturing Engineer to lead new product introduction:

Study and Evaluate current manufacturing practices and identify efficiency improvements
Act as the primary technical authority for manufacturing processes designs and equipment.
Lead efforts to improve manufacturing methods to increase efficiency reduce costs and enhance quality and safety
Apply manufacturing best practices for new product by writing clear and concise subassembly requirements
Use data analysis and statistical methods to determine root causes of failures and implement corrective actions.
Make cost down and fast turnaround production process of complex capital equipment with Laser optics electrical mechanical components
Collaborate with design engineers to ensure products are designed for efficient and cost-effective manufacturing.
Develop and maintain comprehensive engineering documentation procedures and reports.
Research and propose new manufacturing technologies and methods to maintain a competitive edge
Coordinate with Suppliers and Cross functional teams to ensure project execution and meet project schedule.

Required skills and qualifications

Deep knowledge of manufacturing processes including Design for Manufacturing and Assembly (DFMA).
Advanced proficiency with relevant software such as CAD CAM and statistical software.
Expertise in Lean manufacturing principles and tools
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills backed by a strong quantitative and statistical background.
Excellent communication interpersonal and leadership skills.
Proven experience in leading projects and teams.

Familiarity with quality standards and measurement equipment.
