Your Role

Were looking for a visionary engineering leader ready to shape the future of mechanical systems and automation. Join us and take charge of a high-performing team driving innovation in residential and commercial doors and gates.

As our Engineering Manager (Mechanical Systems) youll be at the forefront of product innovation leading the design development testing and launch of cutting-edge mechanical systems. Youll guide a talented team through new product development and continuous improvement projects ensuring every solution meets performance quality and commercial goals.

This role can be based out of Keysborough VIC or Revesby NSW.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical and industrial design for new products and enhancements
• Oversee project delivery from concept to post-launch support
• Manage internal and external resources to meet budgets and timelines
• Collaborate with Product Management to align development with brand strategy

What Youll Bring

• Extensive hands-on experience in the development of mechanical and/or electro-mechanical products
• Proven success in a leadership role/s with proven problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
• Strong command of engineering principles and scientific problem-solving
• Commercial acumen
• Global experience is highly valued including work on products for export or international markets
• Proficiency in CAD and design methodologies: DFA DFM FMEA FEA
• Strategic thinker who matches tasks to growth opportunities
• Analytical mindset with a focus on cost-effective high-quality outcomes
• Excellent program and project management with strong documentation practices
• Bachelors Degree in Engineering or higher
