Job Summary

Apple is looking for a Business Development Manager to help manage and drive payment services available to customers in Apples digital payments and commerce platforms including high profile services such as the Apple Arcade Apple Fitness Apple Music Apple TV and our ideal candidate you enjoy a high-change environment that is focused on building the next generation of Apples payment experiences. This role will support the payments business to navigate successfully implement and help manage Apples payments business for regulatory landscape continues to change rapidly especially in India with ongoing new directives issued by the Reserve Bank of India and this is having a major impact on Apple. Being able to adapt to this changing environment working with local payment partners will be key in successfully responding to the challenge. As a member of the Wallet Payments and Commerce Team you will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to drive customer engagement with a focus on the App Store iTunes Store Apple Books and Apple Music by establishing and maintaining relationships with global payment providers. You will be a lead ambassador responsible for communicating the Apple customer experience and approach to risk management to qualified business partners implementing payment solutions. Its important to be able to support structuring and implementing business and technical terms that align with Apples overall persistence and the ability to collaborate are crucial to the success in this role.


  • Extensive business development experience in driving new payment methods and services preferably within a payments organisation or major merchant
  • Familiarity of new payments regulations and its impact on digital and physical merchants like Apple
  • Deep experience working with payment networks card issuers and other payment methods
  • Experience interacting with regulatory bodies
  • Experience in managing sophisticated partner relationships


  • Flexibility to handle directional changes and balance moving priorities and a portfolio of initiatives to ensure project success and drive impact
  • Ability to contribute consistently and positively in a high-paced constantly evolving and sometimes unpredictable work environment
  • Self-starter and results oriented; demonstrated results building lasting relationships
  • Degree education in relevant field desirable but candidates from all education backgrounds are encouraged to apply
