Quality Engineering Lead

Position Description:

This role is hybrid and requires you to be at our downtown Toronto (250 Yonge St Toronto) and/or Client office at a minimum 2 days per week - subject to change at any time.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

.Design and implement testing plans for products
.Ability to manage and execute complex test scenarios
.Responsible for the creation of testing artifacts including but not limited to test cases test scripts test conditions and expected test results.
.Responsible for mapping of test cases to business requirements and functional designs.
.Creating and reviewing testing deliverables.
.Identify procedures and scenarios for the quality control of products and services
.Process product reviews and inform the development team of defects and errors
.Communicate quantitative and qualitative findings from test results to the development team
.Monitor efforts to resolve product issues and track progress
.Ensure that the final product satisfies the product requirements and meet end-user expectations
.Spot areas for improvement to enhance the products efficiency

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

.Bachelors degree in a relevant field (e.g. Computer Science Business Administration).
.Selenium and Rest Assured are must have
.Possesses a minimum of 7-8 years of QA experience.
.Work collaboratively within a cross-functional team.
.Strong aptitude for learning new technologies.
.Good understanding of testing methodologies and testing processes.
.Understands software development life cycle process and various testing techniques including a proficiency in system testing.
.Good documentation and communication skills.
.Familiar with testing tools such as HP products.
