Job Summary
Position: Production Manager
Location: Eureka CA
Schedule: Monday-Friday 9am-530pm
Pay: $25/hour
Summary:
Were seeking a hands-on and experienced Production Supervisor to oversee daily operations at our clients manufacturing and distribution facility. This role is responsible for leading the production and distribution teams ensuring compliance quality and efficiency across all operations. The ideal candidate has strong leadership skills knowledge of cannabis manufacturing/distribution and a commitment to maintaining a safe and organized workplace.
Responsibilities:
Supervise day-to-day production and distribution operations
Lead and train team members to maintain quality compliance and efficiency
Weigh package and label cannabis products according to QA standards
Maintain accurate inventory of cannabis and non-cannabis materials
Create and print labels and QR codes; order supplies as neede
Follow FIFO (First In First Out) inventory procedures
Support intake sorting and bulk flower processing as needed
Operate and troubleshoot packaging equipment
Oversee delivery scheduling routing and compliance for product transport
Maintain safety OSHA and compliance standards in all operations
Conduct regular inventory counts and report variances
Collaborate with Operations and Product teams to meet production goals
Ensure workspaces equipment and vehicles are clean and maintained
Lead team meetings track KPIs and support continuous improvement
Support hiring coaching and performance management of staff
Requirements:
Minimum 21 years of age
3 years of experience in manufacturing production or distribution (cannabis preferred)
Knowledge of METRC Distru and cannabis compliance procedures
OSHA 30 and Food Handlers Certification preferred
Strong organizational leadership and communication skills
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for long periods
Flexible schedule including weekends and evenings as needed
Due to industry requirements candidates must be 21 years or older.
