What We Are Looking For
The People Success Business Partner provides human resources consultation and support to a designated business unit to define and execute HR strategies that enable the accomplishment of business objectives. Develops workforce plans and an understanding of external customer trends and issues in the industry that could potentially impact business. Leads organizational assessment that converts strategies into result-driven actions. Utilizes knowledge of various human resources functions to provide tactical support to line managers. Acts as liaison with other HR functions. Provides change management leadership as needed.
Position Type: Temporary (Contract Period: 3 - 6 months) Schedule: 4 Days per week 10 Hours per day Monday - Thursday 7am-5:30pm Location: Brier Clinic San Bernardino CA There are no hybrid or remote options
Benefits: This position is only eligible for CA Sick Time (pro-rated based upon hours)
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND DELIVERABLES
- Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with business leaders to align HR initiatives with organizational goals.
- Provide consultation and guidance to managers on HR policies procedures and best practices.
- Analyze workforce trends and metrics to identify areas for improvement and develop proactive HR solutions.
- Collaborate with business leaders to develop and implement talent management strategies including recruitment retention and succession planning.
- Conduct needs assessments and develop training programs to address skill gaps and enhance employee development.
- Facilitate performance management processes including goal setting performance reviews and feedback sessions.
- Partner with managers to address employee relations issues including conflict resolution and disciplinary actions.
- Drive diversity equity and inclusion initiatives to foster a culture of belonging and respect in the workplace.
- Manage all leaves of absences including FMLA ADA Workers Compensation and other leaves.
- Lead change management efforts by providing guidance and support to managers and employees during organizational transitions.
- Collaborate with compensation and benefits teams to ensure competitive and equitable reward programs.
- Provide insights and recommendations based on HR analytics to support data-driven decision-making.
- Partner with recruitment teams to identify talent needs and develop effective sourcing and hiring strategies.
- Conduct organizational assessments to identify areas for improvement in structure processes and culture.
- Lead HR projects and initiatives such as employee engagement surveys or leadership development programs.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to managers on HR-related matters including performance issues and career development.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations through proactive guidance and audits.
- Foster a positive employee experience by promoting a supportive and inclusive work environment.
- Continuously assess and improve HR processes and practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Drive to different SAC Health locations as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education: High School Diploma required. Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Finance or related field is preferred.
- Licensure/Certification: Valid CA Drivers License and auto insurance required. PHR or SPHR certification preferred. CCP - Certified Compensation Professional preferred. SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP preferred.
- Experience: Four (4) years of progressive experience in Business partnering. Demonstrated technical expertise as a Subject Matter Expert within the Business Partner space.
- Essential Technical/Motor Skills: Must be able to multi-task and possess strong presentation skills. Ability to use various computer programs. Extensive knowledge of state and federal regulations related to employee benefits and compensation administration. Understanding of human resource policies and programs. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong project management skills. Advanced experience with Excel and strong proficiency with PowerPoint for creating complex presentations. Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Interpersonal Skills: Must have excellent management organizational leadership and training skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to empathize while conveying ideas and issues clearly and unambiguously. Proven ability to build and maintain relationships across all levels of the organization. Strong conflict resolution and negotiation skills. Ability to influence and drive results through collaboration and partnership.
- Essential Mental Abilities: Ability to analyze coordinate and manage multiple functions and activities effectively.
- Work Eligibility: Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. Must not now or in the future require sponsorship for employment visas.
