Job Summary
- Acquire/Place orders for materials upon receiving approved requisition
- Follow-up on orders as required and ensure that materials are delivered timely by vendors/suppliers.
- Create and maintain good relationship with suppliers/vendors and upright working relationship with other functional areas of the organization.
- Excellent record keeping and market survey.
- A minimum of HND/BSc in purchasing and supply or logistic Management Business Admin Economics or any related discipline .
- A minimum of 3 years cognate experience in procurement purchasing or supply chain management.
- Proven ability to develop and implement effective procurement strategies.
- Strong negotiation skills to secure favourable deals with suppliers .
- Excellent analytical skills to evaluate market trends suppliers performance and procurement data.
- Time management skills
- Supplier relationship management problem solving and good communication skills.
