Role Summary:
The Operations Support Officer is responsible for ensuring seamless day-to-day operations at the eFTD Hub with a strong focus on addressing delivery delays fleet optimization and rider coordination. The role provides hands-on operational support across last-mile delivery execution hub supervision fleet and rider management and walk-in customer service. Working closely with the Senior Operations Officer 3PL riders and fleet partners the Operations Support Officer plays a critical role in improving delivery efficiency maintaining operational discipline at the hub and ensuring a positive customer experience.
Summary of Responsibilities:
Hub Operations & Coordination
Support daily Island Hub operations to ensure smooth coordination of deliveries and rider activities.
Assist in supervising daily delivery schedules to minimize delays and ensure timely dispatch.
Delivery Monitoring & Issue Resolution
Monitor delivery progress in real time and maintain active communication with riders.
Identify escalate and support resolution of delivery delays and operational issues.
Rider Management
Assist in managing rider attendance performance tracking and compliance with operational guidelines.
Support onboarding training and orientation of new riders assigned to the Island Hub.
Fleet Management & Optimization
Reporting Records & Performance Tracking
Maintain accurate operational records including delivery logs fleet usage rider schedules and maintenance reports.
Assist in tracking and reporting key performance metrics such as delivery turnaround time rider productivity and fleet efficiency.
Customer Service & Stakeholder Support
Provide customer service support to walk-in clients at the Island Hub addressing inquiries and complaints professionally.
Support coordination with third-party service providers and operational stakeholders as required.
Cost Control & Process Improvement
Support tracking of delivery-related costs including fleet repairs battery charging and rider expenses.
Identify operational gaps and contribute to process improvements aimed at enhancing efficiency and service delivery.
Compliance & Other Duties
Support adherence to safety standards and operational policies across riders and fleet operations.
Perform any other duties assigned by the Senior Operations Officer in line with operational needs.
Diploma or certification in Logistics Supply Chain Management Business Administration or a related field (advantage).
Minimum of 1 year experience in logistics last-mile delivery operations fleet management or operational support.
Experience working within a hub-based or last-mile delivery environment is strongly preferred.
Familiarity with delivery management systems rider coordination and fleet tracking tools.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills in a fast-paced operational setting.
High attention to detail with the ability to maintain accurate records and reports.
Good communication and interpersonal skills for engaging riders customers and service vendors.
Basic understanding of vehicle safety and fleet maintenance standards.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to respond quickly to operational challenges.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools especially Excel and Word.
Team-oriented mindset with a strong sense of accountability and professionalism.
