River Market Community Co-op is hiring a Part Time Produce Clerk!

Experience-based pay ranging from: $17.90 - $19.15 per hour

Approximately 20-24 hours/week

Must have availability to work afternoons and evenings!

Union position

Reports to: Produce Manager

• Maintain attractive fully stocked rotated and faced sections
• Write and call-in orders according to established department needs
• Prepare price changes as needed following established department criteria
• Answer customer questions
• Follow all safety and sanitation standards
• Greet and assist customers with placing and picking up orders.

• Performs basic arithmetic including counting addition and subtraction
• Able to remain on feet for long periods of time
• Must have weekend availability

ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL FUNCTIONS: Must be physically able to occasionally grasp grip pull push twist and turn as needed.

Constant (67-100%): Walking standing lifting/carrying up to 25 pounds floor to waist talking hearing correctable vision including near acuity and depth perception

Frequent (34-66%): Bending stooping squatting kneeling lifting/reaching waist to shoulder lifting/reaching above the shoulder

Occasional (1-33%): Working in refrigeration pushing pulling lifting/carrying up to 50 pounds floor to waist lifting up to 100 pounds with assistance floor to waist

Approximately 5% of the time: Administrative duties & sitting
