We provide a unique two-to-three-year program for young people in Years 10 to 12 designed to progressively develop employability skills and achieve individualized learning goals while meeting the requirements of the Queensland Curriculum and Assessment Authority (QCAA) and the Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA).
Our aim is to seamlessly blend senior education and vocational training to engage young people in purposeful learning experiences that are relevant to the real world of industry.
About the role
The new Business Services Manager role has been created to ensure the smooth and effective running of all support operations of our Toowoomba School to enable a high performing school environment delivering real outcomes for our young people and industry partners.
Reporting to the Principal and working closely with the Assistant Principal and Industry Engagement Manager this role leads the business services team and is an enabler serving as the conduit between the School Professional Services and the wider community.
As a brand champion you will model The Industry School values ensuring that every interaction process and presentation reflects our professional standards reputation and brand identity. A key member of the School Management Team you will be responsible for leading the schools business and operational functions including administration enrolment data monitoring and support student services and logistics.
Leading a team of operational and administrative staff you will play a strategic role in operational decision-making and process improvements ensuring compliance with policies procedures and regulatory requirements.
