| Job Summary: |
The Arizona Department of Correction Rehabilitation and Reentry is seeking an experienced leader to serve as the Quality Assurance Program Manager. The role will oversee Programs Credentialing Quality Assurance and Training to ensure a systematic development implementation and continuous improvement of all correctional programming initiatives. The Quality Assurance Program Manager will support the Peer Support and Program Development (PSPD) as well as be the central coordination point for Education Programs and Community Reentry (EPCR) staff training assessment protocols and quality monitoring across all correctional programs.
| Job Duties: |
-Manages coalesces data pertaining to and reports out on continuous quality improvement audits conducted for psycho-educational programs
-Conducts regular audits and implements continuous quality improvement measures
-Assists in overseeing ADCRRs reentry initiatives and release processes monitors compliance with established procedures and protocols
-Coordinates vital records services for inmates preparing for release
-Assists the Peer Support Program through continuous quality improvement
-Develops metrics
-Standardizes policies and procedures
-Responsible for supervising staff who will be assisting the Quality Assurance (QA) position
-Oversees all EPCR trainings
-Designs and delivers training sessions to equip staff with necessary skills and knowledge to deliver interventions with fidelity
-Coordinates ongoing retraining efforts to keep staff abreast of the latest developments in correctional practices and ensures consistency in program delivery across the state
-Performs a variety of duties related to EPCRs initiatives as needed

| Selective Preference(s): |
Bachelors degree
Ten (10) years of Administrative Experience
Five (5) years in a correctional environment
Three (3) years experience in the area of quality assurance
| Pre-Employment Requirements: |
In an effort to maintain a safe environment all employees are required to take a Tuberculosis (TB) test during their New Employee Orientation and every year thereafter.
Employment is contingent on the selected applicant passing a background investigation and a drug test consistent with Arizona Revised Statutes.
If this position requires driving or the use of a vehicle as an essential function of the job then the following requirements apply. Any employee operating a motor vehicle on State business must possess and retain a current valid class-appropriate drivers license complete all required training and successfully pass all necessary drivers license record checks. The license must be current unexpired and neither revoked nor suspended. Employees who drive on state business are subject to drivers license record checks must maintain acceptable driving records and must complete all required driver training. An employee who operates a personally owned vehicle on state business shall maintain the statutorily required liability insurance (see Arizona Administrative Code (A.A.C.) R.11).
