Job Summary

Supply Chain Manager - Procurement

Location - Pune

Industry - Automobile

1. Purchase & Procurement

Ensure that purchasing strategies and processes are in place to meet business
objectives and operatio needs in terms of price quality and delivery targets
Work and Improve Terms and conditions supplier selection/de-selection evaluation and
rationalization of supply chain solutions including vendor managed inventory supplier
consignments and safety stock.
Understanding the requirements and processing RFQ s for the items as indented by
site. Seek and partner with reliable vendors and suppliers.

2. Supply Chain Management:

Ordering stock from suppliers to fulfil customer demand and maintaining service levels.

Overall responsibility for SCM and Cost Estimating activities across the business.
Support on ERP system to the Plant.
Development of Local sources for Imported parts.

3. Material Planning & Management

Working as Team Leader Material Planner and supervising RM procurement (Domestic
& Import) for the plant with support of team members.
Evaluating and realizing monthly schedule generated by the system through MRP to
suppliers & ensuring material pickups/deliveries on time.
Monitoring & mentoring the team for maintaining stock levels as per the given
guidelines.
