Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage international shipments from origin to final delivery.
- Liaise with shipping lines freight forwarders and clearing agents to ensure timely clearance and transport.
- Verify and process all import documentation including invoices packing lists bills of lading and certificates of origin.
- Track container movements monitor ETAs/ETDs and update key stakeholders proactively.
- Ensure compliance with customs regulations Incoterms and import legislation.
- Support procurement and finance teams with landed cost analysis and supplier reconciliations.
- Maintain accurate data on ERP systems and prepare logistics performance reports.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce lead times.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Education:
- Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain Management Logistics or International Trade (preferred).
- Experience:
- Minimum 35 years of experience in imports logistics coordination or freight forwarding.
- Solid understanding of customs processes tariff codes and import controls.
- Experience managing sea air and road freight shipments.
- ERP knowledge (SAP Syspro or similar) and advanced Excel proficiency.
