Training Engineer

Werelooking for a technically curiousTraining Engineerto become a subject matter expert on Black Duck this role you will work closely with aTraining Content Developer providing them with the knowledge they need to createengaging learning role is critical in ensuring our customers gaindeep practical understanding of our tools accelerating secure software development across their organizations.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Training Content Developer to translate complex technical concepts into clear engaging training materials including videos labs and documentation.

• Stay up to date with our latest product features so you canassisttheTraining Content Developerwith creating micro-learning for new features.

• Act as the internal expert on developer workflows and use cases providing insights to improve training relevance and effectiveness.

• Review andvalidatetraining content for technical accuracy and completeness.

• Maintain demo environments and troubleshoot issues to ensure smooth content creation and delivery.

• Creating short code examples with defects for learning content.

• Youmay occasionally be called on toassistwithdeliveringworkshopsorwebcasts

• Very occasionallytravel may be required to assist with the delivery ofin-persontraining.

Qualifications

• 4 years of experienceworking as a developer support engineer salesengineerorrelated field

• Knowledge of two or more:Java C# C/C JavaScript Node AngularJS PHPRubyetc.

• Familiarity with modern development environments IDEs and version control systems (e.g. Git VS Code IntelliJ).

• Knowledge ofDocker Kubernetesand Virtual Machines preferred.

• Familiarity withopen-sourcesoftware ecosystems

• Ability to adapt to change and learn new skills

• Attention to detail

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

• Knowledge of SAST DAST or SCA tools a plus

• Bachelors degree in CS orrelated field (preferred).
