About the Role

Working closely with the EM Capital Funding & Strategy and the key project working group this role is accountable for proactively driving and supporting a variety of activities necessary to raise AT1 and Tier 2 Capital for Suncorp.

We have two secondment opportunities available until April and May 2026. One role will have a heavy lean to supporting the legal team and the other to support a broad range of activities within the Capital Strategy and Funding team.

What Youll Do

• Plan communicate & collaborate with a variety of stakeholders teams & advisors (internal and external) to define deliver & validate key disclosure legal and due diligence documents.
• Stay flexible curious & organised communicate potential barriers opportunities & issues via continuous open feedback loops.
• Engage with key stakeholders (including senior leaders) to meet project deliverables and robust governance requirements.
• Contribute to steering committee submissions
• Support strong relationships with external advisors including legal counsel and joint lead managers (i.e. investment and institutional banks).
• Exposure to Board and regulatory engagement
• Exposure to transaction structure strategy and execution and the decisions and trade offs that need to be made
• Other support within the Capital Funding and Strategy team to balance deliverables

What Youll Bring

• 5 years experience in treasury capital accounting legal or regulatory reporting teams (or similar technical backgrounds).
• Strong engagement stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Thrive on working flexibly to manage multiple deliverables

• A reputation as a strong team player who brings a willingness to learn with & support one another.
• An ability to research understand and provide insight into concepts documents or regulations that may be new and unfamiliar.
• Confidence to operate in a no surprises environment.
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail and sound business judgement.
• Understanding of capital instruments markets and disclosure regimes (desirable)
• Degree in Finance Accounting Law or equivalent; professional qualifications desirable.
