Job Summary
Were looking for a creative professional who is able to take complex information and develop it into compelling content for a diverse range of audiences of public sector buyers and suppliers.
Working under the Marketing Manager youll apply your experience of digital marketing to support multi-channel activity that resonates with our target audience and contributes to the success of the CCS business plan and brand strategy.
Team Summary
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic marketing team of 12 people that sits within the wider marketing and communications team at CCS. You will be working on marketing content and channels at the heart of government. This is an exciting time to join the team as we roll-out a new brand strategy grow our digital expertise and build on our multi-disciplinary ways of working across the team.
Key Accountabilities:
Support development and delivery of innovative and creative multi-channel marketing activity
Use data and insight to develop data-led content and channel plans with measurable objectives and key performance indicators
Develop creative content that increases brand awareness and generates high levels of audience engagement
Leverage the latest digital marketing tools and techniques including marketing automation and Artificial Intelligence (AI)
Support the optimisation of digital channels including email and social media
Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders including marketing agencies to inform content and planning
Apply the principles policies and practices of Government Communications Service to a high professional standard
Essential Criteria (to be assessed at application stage):
Excellent understanding and experience of using digital channels and tools including email and social media
Able to develop strong productive relationships at all levels inside and outside of the organisation to achieve business objectives
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate complex propositions simply and adapt style to the audience and channel
Experience of using data and insight to monitor and improve performance of marketing activity
Desirable Criteria:
Experience of working in a marketing role in a public sector or government environment
In the event of a high number of applications the desirable will be used as a second sift.

Working flexibly delivering outcomes
CCS is a flexible business with a smarter working model where our colleagues benefit from a mix of home and office working. Successful candidates are expected to work from one of the office locations listed. Our current office attendance approach requires a minimum of 26 days per quarter (approx 2 days per week which may be subject to change) in CCS office locations or off site meetings with suppliers customers partners networking / industry events. This is pro rata for those who work part time. Our smarter working principles mean that our people have the advantage of both office and offsite based collaboration and learning as well as working from home. Selection Process
Candidates who are successful at sift will be contacted as soon as possible following the closing date and advised of the interview process in more detail. The sift will commence on WC 17th November and interviews will be held WC 1st December either at one of our offices or via video with interview times and dates to be confirmed. (Subject to change)
