OPEN JOB: Physical Therapist (Senior Care Aged and Elderly)LOCATION:Riverside California ***Relocation Assistance Available SALARY: $100000 to $125000The Physical Therapist is a key member of the interdisciplinary team focusing on care planning and the coordination and delivery of restorative and rehabilitative physical therapy services to participants working to maximize independence and safety.We are seeking Physical Therapists that ideally have outpatient acute inpatient or skilled nursing experienceWHY THIS ROLE IS DIFFERENT:- Lower patient volumes no more seeing 3-4 patients an hour
- Form long-term relationships with participants rather than short-term rehab stints
- Collaborate with other therapists providers and disciplines
- Have work/life balance - no hours of documentation after work hours

RESPONSIBILITIES:- Conduct Physical Therapy assessments in our facility and occasionally in the home to define participant care needs preferences and goals
- Actively participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to develop participant care plans
- Deliver and document interventions as agreed upon in participant care plans
- Provide active and passive exercise muscle re-education gait functional training of ADLs and treatments including massage heat sound water light or electricity
- Supervise Therapy Assistants providing training instruction and guidance needed to implement Functional Maintenance Programs (FMP)
- Provide training and instruction to staff participants and caregivers/families on the use and care of therapeutic equipment
REQUIREMENTS:- Bachelors degree in physical therapy; masters or doctoral degree preferred
- Two (2) years in clinical setting with frail or elderly population preferred
- Valid California Physical Therapy License or proof of license eligibility
- Current CPR certification preferred
