This is a remote position.

We currently boast a growing community of over 39000 followers across all social platforms and were just getting started.

One of our key goals this year is to transform our social presence especially on Twitter and TikTok into lively relatable and engaging spaces that feel like your favorite online person not just another product page. We want to build a real Naija-flavoured community where people gist with us troll us quote us support us argue with us and at the end of the day remember us.

Who Were Looking For

Were looking for a Twitter-obsessed TikTok-savvy culturally aware and engagement-driven Community Manager to be the loudest yet smartest and most entertaining version of Breet on the timeline.

Youll be responsible for turning Breet into that account people look forward to seeing daily. Youll stay plugged into Naija Twitter trends cruise crypto gist tech takes celebrity drama and viral moments while inserting our voice smartly and hilariously into the mix. We want tweeps to constantly ask: Who be this admin sef

Your job will be split mainly between:

Twitter (60%): Owning the Naija Twitter streets trends gist and banter; making Breet the account people look forward to engaging with daily.
TikTok (30%): Helping us grow our TikTok presence by joining in strategy using TikTok search insights and ensuring our content is indexed properly to show up on relevant FYPs.
Other Social/Community (10%): Supporting the team with indoor and outdoor content creation community engagement and general social media initiatives.

The goal Have an active voice that understands the vibe of the Nigerian timeline can speak the lingo and engage people naturally without forcing a vibe.

Requirements

Deep Twitter Knowledge: Youve been on Twitter for at least 3 years. You know where conversations brew when to jump in and how to stay relevant before a trend dies. Youre not just familiar with Twitter you live there.
TikTok Growth Skills: You understand TikTok search insights how to optimize posts for discoverability and what makes content pop on FYP.
Wit & Cultural Awareness: You understand Nigerian culture pop culture slangs Twitter lingo crypto gist tech memes and how to use all of them to create humor and drive attention.
Social Media Experience: Youve handled a brands social media account for at least 2 years preferably one with a witty or playful tone. Your personal Twitter account may even speak for you. Show us you get the vibe.
A Self-Starter Mentality: Youre bold proactive and confident enough to tweet without needing constant approval. You dont shy away from hot takes or occasional dragging
Creative Thinking: No idea is too fact if youve ever said This might sound stupid but we want to hear it. We love eccentric minds and unconventional creativity.
Physical Availability for Shoots: Youre okay with being on-ground once or twice a week for content shoots ideation BTS moments or just vibing with the team to make magic happen.
Data-Driven Mindset: We love vibes but we love results too. You should regularly track engagement data analyze what works what flopped and suggest changes accordingly.
Crypto Knowledge (Optional but Nice): If you understand crypto even at surface level its a big plus. If not you should be willing to learn quickly.

What Your Day Might Look Like

Tweet Eat Repeat: Stay active on Twitter. Tweet reply quote-tweet banter hype and create organic conversations. You wont need to wait for a full content calendarjust know whats hot and get in there without being a loud banger boy with nothing to offer.
TikTok Growth: Work with the social media team to optimize posts with trending sounds hashtags and TikTok SEO to maximize reach and discoverability.
Trend Monitoring: Stay on top of Twitter trends Naija drama and internet chaos. Find clever funny or even slightly controversial ways to insert Breet into the mix without sounding like a corporate robot.
Assist with Other Social Tasks: Help out with things like live-tweeting joining/hosting Twitter Spaces occasionally joining outdoor shoots and overall working with the broader social team to amplify brand moments and more.
