Job Summary

SWA Southern California Seeks High-Level Landscape Designer / Architect
Experience in Design Project Management and Construction Documentation Required

SWA Groups Laguna Beach studio is seeking a talented and motivated Landscape Designer or Landscape Architect with a minimum of 5 years of professional experienceand with proven strength in design leadership project management and construction documentation.

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in landscape architecture (required); masters degree preferred.

Professional licensure in Landscape Architecture.

Proficiency in AutoCAD Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft 365.

Strong graphic and presentation skills with the ability to produce compelling visuals and presentations.

Experience leading large multidisciplinary teams and managing projects from concept through construction.

Exceptional attention to detail and excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Creative problem-solver with a deep understanding of design documentation and constructability.

Experience in a range of project types and scales both public and private.

International project experience particularly in the Middle East or Asia is highly valued.

Proven ability in construction documentation specifications plant materials and coordination with consultants.

Interest or experience in business development and client relations.

Additional proficiency in the following is desirable:
BIM / Revit
D5 Rhino SketchUp and 3D modeling
Hand sketching

Compensation & Benefits

Salary range: $90000 $110000 commensurate with experience.
