Sr. Embedded Software Program Manager

We are looking for a skilled Sr. Embedded Software Program Manager to drive and oversee the successful planning execution and delivery of embedded software projects across our product portfolio. This role requires a combination of technical expertise in embedded systems strong project management skills and excellent communication abilities. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering product development quality assurance and business stakeholders to ensure that projects are delivered on time within scope and meet high-quality standards. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Develop and maintain program plans and schedules for embedded software projects.  

• Work with key stakeholders to define project scope objectives deliverables and success metrics. 

• Establish timelines and resource requirements aligning them with overall company goals. 

• Track project progress maintain project schedules ensuring milestones are met.  

• Work with cross-functional teams including software engineers hardware teams quality assurance and product management.  

• Proactively identify analyze and mitigate program risks and issues especially those related to hardware-software integration and QA. 

• Coordinate with QA teams to establish testing protocols verification procedures and documentation. 

• Technical foundation and knowledge of embedded systems including SoC architecture real-time operating systems (RTOS) and low-level drivers. Previous experience as a Software or Hardware Engineer on an embedded team is a plus. 

Qualifications :

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Electrical Engineering Software Engineering or related field. 

• 5 years of experience in embedded software development or embedded systems engineering. 

• 3 years of experience in project/program management preferably in embedded software or hardware-related projects. 

• PMP Agile or Scrum Master certifications are preferred. 

• Proficiency with project management and communication tools (e.g. Jira Confluence MS Project etc.). 

• Strong understanding of embedded systems and hardware-software interaction. 

• Experience in software development processes version control and embedded software languages (C C etc.).
