Position Overview

This internship offers an exciting opportunity to explore the field of international education while developing essential skills in program coordination cross-cultural communication and student engagement. As a member of our team youll work closely with local and global professionals to provide supports in program delivery student advising and cultural engagement. Youll sharpen your language and communication skills expand your professional toolkit and gain behind-the-scenes insight into global program design. Ideal for students who are curious collaborative and ready to make a meaningful impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Support student integration and well-being through regular check-ins appreciative advising and responding to students needs timely.
- Assist with planning and delivering co-curricular activities extra-curricular activities excursions and orientation events and newsletter.
- Contribute to academic processes such as course registration and learning plan consultations.
- Maintain accurate student records and assist with administrative tasks in Salesforce.
- Participate in emergency response protocols and student incident management (no emergency phone duties required).
- Coordinate housing arrangements before and throughout the semester.
Required Qualifications:
- A current university student
- Strong English language proficiency overseas experience preferred.
- Experience in study abroad or life overseas
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Enthusiasm for IFSAs mission and commitment to inclusive excellence.
- Ability to work independently manage time effectively and adapt to changing priorities.
- Ability to engage with and support students with diverse background and experiences.
- General knowledge of university system and student life
- Legal right to work in China.
