RequirementsPreference will be given to applicants with advanced education or exemplary experience in Water and Wastewater Treatment operation public health and protection of the environment.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree (Science Technology Engineering) or equivalent in a closely related discipline
- The ability to develop and teach undergraduate courses (theory and laboratory practice)
- An understanding of and experience in the Canadian water and wastewater systems operations and legislation.
- A commitment to diversity equity and inclusion.
- A commitment to honouring Truth Reconciliation and Rights in PSE
- Fluency in English (spoken and written) is required.
- Proficiency in MS Office and learning management systems.
Assets:
- Masters Degree (Science Technology Engineering) or equivalent in a closely related discipline
- Prior post-secondary education (PSE) -level teaching experience in related discipline
- Experience in curriculum development
- Work experience and connections to Industry.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse and multi-disciplinary teams.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
- Attention to detail and commitment to efficiency and effectiveness.
