THE ROLE
We are looking for a #TechTalent to work as a Production Supportfor a national project.
YOUR DAY TO DAY
- Proactively monitor manage and improve the availability and performance of production environments covering all layers from presentation and application to middleware and databases;
- Provide escalation support as part of the Follow-the-Sun operational model;
- Proactively manage capacity for production applications to ensure optimal performance and resource utilization;
- Customize and enhance production tools including monitoring systems batch scheduling backups deployment tools and automation frameworks;
- Provide feedback and propose solutions to management regarding performance and capacity improvements.
- Proven professional experience in similar roles;
- Experienced with Windows and Linux/Unix environments including WCF WebLogic Application Server Apache Tomcat and Java EE;
- Hands-on experience with tools such as Geneos Introscope Dynatrace Autosys and Dollar Universe (preferred);
- Proficient in scripting languages such as Python Perl Shell and SQL for administration monitoring and support tool development;
- Strong understanding of production support processes including change and release management as well as incident and problem management with working knowledge of ITIL best practices;
- Experience with SQL Server and Oracle databases;
- Fluency in English(written & spoken).
