GSR Group proudly owns and operates Wingstop franchise locations providing outstanding food and exceptional service to our guests. Were expanding our support team to include a Project Manager. This role is essential in ensuring a seamless and positive experience for every guest whether theyre asking about menu items orders or employment opportunities.
We are seeking a detail-oriented organized and highly motivated Project Manager to oversee and coordinate projects from inception to completion. This position is ideal for veterans transitioning service members reservists or military spouses who excel in leadership mission planning and execution.
The Project Manager will be responsible for managing multiple projects simultaneously ensuring that goals are achieved on time within scope and within budget. Candidates with a background in operations logistics or team leadership will find this role to be a natural transition from military service to civilian project management.
Key Responsibilities1. Project Planning & Execution
Develop comprehensive project plans including objectives timelines deliverables and milestones.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure projects stay on schedule and meet performance targets.
Define project scope identify risks and implement mitigation strategies.
Track progress using project management software (e.g. Asana Trello MS Project ClickUp or ).
2. Leadership & Team Coordination
Lead project teams with a focus on collaboration accountability and mission success.
Assign tasks set clear expectations and monitor team performance.
Foster open communication between team members and stakeholders.
Conduct regular status meetings to review progress challenges and next steps.
3. Budget & Resource Management
Prepare and manage project budgets ensuring financial goals are met.
Allocate resources efficiently across multiple projects.
Track expenses forecast costs and report variances to leadership.
4. Communication & Reporting
Serve as the main point of contact for project stakeholders and clients.
Provide consistent project updates including progress reports and performance metrics.
Prepare executive summaries and post-project evaluations to identify lessons learned.
5. Risk Management & Quality Assurance
Identify potential project risks and develop contingency plans.
Ensure all deliverables meet company standards and client expectations.
Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project efficiency.
6. Documentation & Process Improvement
Maintain comprehensive project documentation and ensure compliance with organizational processes.
Recommend process improvements and best practices for ongoing project optimization.
Education: Bachelors degree preferred (in Business Administration Management or related field). Equivalent military experience accepted.
Experience:12years of project management operations or leadership experience (including military command or operational roles).
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in project management tools (Asana MS Project Trello ClickUp or similar).
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint Outlook).
Leadership: Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and coordinate complex initiatives.
Communication: Excellent written verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving decision-making and strategic-thinking abilities.
Organization: Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and time management.
Adaptability: Ability to work independently manage multiple priorities and thrive under pressure.
Certifications: PMP (Project Management Professional) CAPM Agile/Scrum Master or Six Sigma preferred but not required.
Experience managing government logistics or defense-related projects.
Familiarity with military operational planning or systems management.
Remote team management experience.
