Job Summary

Job Title: Oracle JDE WorldSoft Consultant (RPG/CL Developer)

Experience: 8 Years

Location: Any DC location of Infosys

Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Oracle JDE WorldSoft Developer with strong hands-on expertise in RPG and CL programming. The ideal candidate will be responsible for development support and maintenance of RPG/CL programs within the JDE WorldSoft environment. The role demands strong analytical problem-solving and communication skills to deliver high-quality solutions independently and collaboratively.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop enhance and maintain RPGLE RPGIII CLP CLLE programs within the JDE WorldSoft environment.

Perform customization integration and modification of JDE applications based on business needs.

Provide technical support and troubleshoot issues related to JDE applications and RPG/CL programs.

Collaborate with functional teams to analyze requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

Ensure adherence to standard software development principles and best practices.

Handle technical queries and requests from internal teams and customers in a timely and effective manner.

Conduct unit testing and debugging to ensure software quality and performance.

Maintain technical documentation for developed programs and enhancements.

Required Skills and Experience:

In-depth knowledge of: RPGLE RPGIII CLP CLLE coding.

Experience with JDE WorldSoft tools including:

o RDA (Report Design Aid)

o SVR (Server Design Aid)

o SDA (Screen Design Aid)

o Data Dictionary

o Processing Options

Good understanding of XML parsing using RPGLE (nice-to-have skill).

Strong experience in application of standard software development principles.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage assigned tasks efficiently.

Excellent analytical problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field.

Prior experience working in Oracle JDE WorldSoft environments.

Experience in supporting large-scale ERP implementations.
