We are currently hiring a Staff Nurse Anaesthetics (Cardiac Catheterisation Lab) for a prestigious hospital in Dublin Ireland.
Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments on admission document findings accurately and continuously evaluate patient conditions to identify care needs.
Develop implement and update individualised care plans based on best practice and patient needs ensuring timely reviews and accurate documentation.
Provide safe evidence-based nursing care in accordance with hospital policies procedures and NMBI standards.
Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure coordinated person-centred care and smooth discharge planning.
Maintain a safe and supportive environment for patients families and staff ensuring dignity confidentiality and infection prevention compliance.
Demonstrate flexibility and accountability adapting to changing workloads and functioning effectively in emergency situations.
Communicate clearly and professionally with patients families and colleagues ensuring accurate reporting and respectful interactions at all times.
Participate in quality assurance activities including audits data collection and evaluation of care to support continuous improvement.
Engage in ongoing professional development taking responsibility for maintaining clinical competence and contributing to staff training and mentorship.
Uphold hospital values and standards complying with all policies supporting the mission statement and ensuring proper record management in line with legislation.
Requirements
Registered in the General Division of the NMBI (Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland)
Proven experience in Anaesthetics (Cardiac Catheterisation Lab experience desirable)
Demonstrated commitment to continuous professional development
Participation in ongoing skills training relevant to patient care and clinical responsibilities
