We the RecruitNet team are hiring a Staff Nurse for a leading Nursing home in cork Ireland.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Director of Care Clinical Nurse Manager or Senior Staff Nurse in carrying out their responsibilities.
- Uphold moral and professional principles and provide excellent resident care.
- Respect the "Misuse of Drugs Act" and NMBIs instructions for administering medical preparations.
- Provide incoming nursing and care staff with orientation training.
- To satisfy residents needs make sure all nursing care is tailored to them and comprehensive.
- Encourage and cultivate positive relationships with residents and their families... Maintaining efficient communication with them and making sure they are notified of any changes as necessary
- Give care helpers responsibilities and oversight.
Requirements
- Having worked with the elderly
- Proficient in English and excellent communication skills
- Proficient in HIQA standards.
- Carry a legitimate NMBI decision letter
- Have a current NMBI PIN.
