Engineering Manager (Mobile)

About the opportunity 

We are seeking a seasoned and proactive Engineering Manager to lead our mobile engineering team responsible for the full lifecycle development of high-quality mobile applications across iOS and Android platforms. This role suits a strategic and hands-on technical leader with deep expertise in mobile development capable of driving architectural excellence fostering engineering best practices and mentoring a high-impact team.

The Engineering Manager will take ownership of mobile platform evolution ensuring scalable robust and performant applications while collaborating closely with product design backend and QA teams. This leader will champion a culture of innovation ownership and continuous improvement balancing technical direction with effective people management to deliver products that drive customer engagement and business growth.

The ideal candidate will have experience managing mobile engineers strong knowledge of mobile architecture and technologies and excellent communication skills to align cross-functional teams on mobile strategy and delivery.

Job Description

• Work with your product team to determine precise requirements and build them Write clean well-tested and well-abstracted code
• Participate in code review
• Participate in the mobile guild and team-driven decision-making processes Participate in sprint planning and retro
• Participate in QA
• Mentor Junior Engineers

Qualifications :

Qualifications

• Over 13 years of hands-on experience in iOS application development.
• Strong proficiency in Swift and SwiftUI.
• Experience with Xcode CocoaPods/SPM and debugging tools.
• Solid understanding of design patterns (MVC MVVM etc.) and clean architecture principles.
• Familiarity with networking multithreading and offline storage.
• Experience in version control systems (Git/GitHub/GitLab).
• Strong problem-solving skills ownership and attention to detail.

Good to Have

• Experience with React Native.
• Write and maintain unit tests(Swift Testing XCTests) for robust code quality.
• Knowledge of Fastlane and GitHub Actions.
• Understanding of security best practices for mobile apps.
• Good knowledge of App Store release process and CI/CD tools.
