The JM Family College Internship Program is designed to create an opportunity for college students to have meaningful work experiences that tie to their programs of study. As part of this program you will actively contribute to your teams success learn about JM Familys companies and culture while obtaining new skills through learning opportunities networking events and much more.
The ideal candidate will be available to work full-time during the Summer Internship Program (May 26th 2026 - July 31st 2026).
Interns will engage in meaningful work and gain insights into specific projects or tasks providing hands-on experience and contributing to various department initiatives. They will learn about JM Familys culture including our core values: Consideration Cooperation Communication Innovation and Accountability. These core values are part of our keys to success and the skills that embody these values are what drive our success as an organization.
Responsibilities:
Plan coordinate & execute all aspects of JM Familys companywide Back-To-School initiatives across multiple business locations
Plan coordinate & execute all aspects of JM Familys Summer Intern Community Impact Project initiative across multiple business locations
Assist with planning coordination & execution of other various community impact initiatives
Working directly with nonprofit partners to ensure events & initiatives are meaningful and impactful
Create & implement communication plans to promote events and initiatives
Recruiting volunteers to support events and initiatives
Research & purchase needed supplies
Research corporate giving trends and innovative ways to promote companywide giving campaigns
Administrativesupport
Assist with other tasks & projects as assigned
Qualifications:
This is a full-time position with flexible working arrangements depending on the business need.
The ideal candidate will be actively enrolled in a bachelors masters or other degree-seeking program at an accredited college or university with a focus in a relevant field. Candidates in related fields will also be considered. Must have completed at least one semester of coursework.
Relevant completed coursework may include classes related to the role or similar.
Additional requirements or preferred qualifications may include specific skills or experiences.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining strong attention to detail
Must have the ability to multitask and prioritize
Strong organizational and time management skills
Excellent written and verbal communications skills
Team player quick learner
