What you will be doing in this role

As a Full-Time Registered Nurse in our Special Care Nursery you will be at the heart of providing exceptional care for newborns requiring specialised attention. Working alongside a supportive multi-disciplinary team including neonatal nurses doctors and the Nurse Unit Manager you will play a pivotal role in assessing monitoring and supporting the health and wellbeing of our tiniest patients. Your responsibilities will include administering treatments ensuring the safety and comfort of infants and offering vital support to families during a challenging and emotional time. With a strong focus on holistic care you will be dedicated to meeting the physical emotional and psychological needs of both the infants and their families.

In this role you will be supported with continuous learning and professional development ensuring you stay at the forefront of neonatal care. Youll be encouraged to further enhance your clinical skills through a variety of training programs workshops and hands-on experience. The team environment is built on mutual respect and collaboration so youll never be alone in your journey. Youll be guided and mentored by experienced professionals who share your commitment to delivering the best possible care. Who were looking for

  • A compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration and full Australian working rights.
  • A genuine interest or experience in neonatal or paediatric nursing with a passion for caring for newborns.
  • A holistic approach to care recognising the physical emotional and psychological needs of both infants and their families.
  • Strong empathetic communication skills with the ability to support and guide families through challenging times.
  • A collaborative team player who thrives in a supportive learning-focused environment.
  • Critical thinking and clinical expertise with the ability to adapt in a fast-paced setting.
  • The ability to work a rotating roster including some night shifts.
