Job Summary

Raytheon is looking for an experienced Material Program Manager (MPM) to join the Tomahawk team for Recert supporting a large high visibility fast-paced development program located onsite in Tucson Arizona. The successful candidate will be a self-starter capable of developing and achieving program material delivery and financial performance objectives in a matrixed environment and successfully interface with functional and program leadership.

In this highly visible role youll be the liaison between Supply Chain and Program teams. Youll create and execute the Program Material Strategy to ensure the flawless execution from the front end of the business through contract closure.

The MPM is the single point of contact interfacing with the Program Office and internal customers Quality Engineering Operations Finance and Contracts. S/he will represent the Supply Chain organization on policies strategies and objectives. The MPM oversees all Supply Chain Management activities needed to meet program requirements and ensures a strong link between various Supply Chain functions including Purchasing/Sub-Contracts Logistics and Production Control. This position supports a product development effort that requires the ability to operate in a challenging and constantly changing environment where successful material strategy execution is a key contributor to overall program success.

What You Will Do

• Develop and execute Material Program Plans and Supplier Management Plans
• Plan and execute sourcing decisions and support the Make/Buy/Where process
• Identify Customer Prime Contract Flow-Downs and obtaining any required Terms Attachments (T-Attachments) and/or Modifications (TCMs)
• Assist with the generation of Supplier Statements of Work (SSOWs)
• Oversee all SCM activities needed to meet program requirements and ensuring a strong link within and between various Supply Chain functions including Sourcing Logistics and Production Control
• Work closely with Engineering Quality and Operations to create a common schedule based on Material Requirements Planning (MRP)
• Monitor performance metrics and proactively address program and functional issues
• Develop and execute risk/opportunity plans to meet program objectives
• Generate and process Supplier New Add / Re-Activation requests
• Drive Purchase Requisition generation & Purchase Order placement/management
• Participate in supplier engagements and reviews to ensure supplier performance
  

Qualifications You Must Have

• Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 8 years prior relevant experience or An Advanced Degree in a related field and a minimum of 5 years experience.
  

Qualifications We Prefer

• Masters Degree in Business Administration Finance Supply Chain Management or related
• Experience with Prime Contract Requirements and Statements of Work (SSOWs)
• Experience with Supply Chain Production Control and/or Procurement processes and requirements
• Proficient with in Microsoft Office software applications (Word PowerPoint Excel including Pivot Tables)
• Ability to support complex product development efforts
• Excellent reporting/communication skills
• Experience in a matrixed organizational structure
• Working knowledge of Earned Value Management and EVM metrics processes and tools

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees as they are essential to the development of our products.

The salary range for this role is 101000 USD - 203000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer including but not limited to the role function and associated responsibilities a candidates work experience location education/training and key skills.
