A Day in The Life at UnityPoint Health:
As a member of the interdisciplinary team the traveler contributes professional/clinical knowledge and skills in the provision and management of care to patients.

The traveler may be asked to float within the same discipline across local campuses.

Traveler must be more than 50 miles from market.

NBO: 16 hrs
EMR: Cerner Powerchart
OT/Holiday: 1.15x multiplier
Call Back: 1.5x multiplier with 2 hr CB minimum
On Call: $9/hr
Charge/Precept: $6/hr

Unit Info:

Patient Ratio: 1:6
Drips Administered: Heparin and Insulin

Billable OT:

36-40 hrs/week OT billable after 40
48 hrs/week OT billable after 48

2025 Holidays:

Winter holidays: Required to work 2 of 3 (Christmas New Years or Thanksgiving)
Limit of 1 day request off between 11/26/25-11/30/25 and 12/23/25-1/2/26 for all travelers regardless of holidays worked.

Submission Requirements

At least 2 years of previous Med/surg Tele experience required
At least 1 travel contract completed
