Trademark Litigation Associate
Our firm is seeking a skilled Trademark Litigation Associate to join our growing Intellectual Property team in Charlotte. This is an exciting opportunity to work on sophisticated trademark disputes collaborating with an accomplished group of attorneys on high-profile matters.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years experience handling trademark litigation before federal district courts and the U.S. Trademark Trial and Appeal Board (TTAB). You will be involved in every stage of litigation-from strategy development and pleadings to discovery motion practice and hearings-while advising clients on effective enforcement and brand protection strategies.

Key Responsibilities:
- Handle trademark litigation and enforcement matters before federal courts and the TTAB.
- Develop litigation strategies and manage matters from inception through resolution.
- Conduct discovery draft pleadings and prepare motions and briefs.
- Advise clients on brand protection portfolio management and IP enforcement strategies.
- Collaborate with senior attorneys and clients to achieve practical business-aligned outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
- Admission to or eligibility for prompt admission to the North Carolina Bar is preferred.
- Minimum of two years of experience in trademark litigation.
- Excellent legal writing communication and analytical skills.
- Strong academic credentials and a collaborative approach to practice.
