Job Summary
Distribution Associate / Forklift
We are hiring a Distribution Associate. The best fit is someone that has general warehouse shipping / receiving experience with Forklift Operation. The company is a global manufacturer and distributor of climate control products for the heating ventilation air conditioning and refrigeration markets.
PAY RATE: 19.50 hour
LOCATION: Carrollton TX 75006
SHIFT: 12:00pm to 8:30pm OT as needed. (hours change at peak season 10 hour shift 11AM start time to 9:30 PM or whenever work is done)
DUTIES:
- Under general supervision performs manual and clerical duties related to the shipment and receipt of materials supplies equipment and finished products.
- Receives goods verifies items against the record of shipment and inspects condition.
- Gathers verifies and packs items for shipment according to specifications and the transportation method used. Records received and shipped items according to established procedures.
- Routes materials supplies and equipment to inspection or stock areas.
- Completes written and computerized documentation.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Requires a high school diploma or GED.

- Forklift experience
- RF Scanner
- Shipping & Receiving
ABILITIES:
- Knows typical shipping and receiving procedures and can handle some exceptions.
- Requires basic reading writing and numerical ability.
- Valid drivers license with good driving record may be required.
- Able to operate powered equipment such as forklift or hydraulic jack lift.
- Effective verbal communication skills.
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
