Role Overview
We are looking for a Content and Communication Manager who can make investing simple relatable and inspiring for millions of Indian consumers.
This role blends storytelling consumer engagement and performance-driven content strategy to help users discover understand and act on their financial goals with Paytm Money.
You will lead the entire content and communication ecosystem across brand campaigns app journeys SEO-led discovery and lifecycle marketing. As a player coach you will be hands-on with writing ideation and strategy while mentoring a high-performing team.
What Youll Do
1. Lead the Consumer Communication Charter
Build a unified communication strategy that drives trust clarity and aspiration among retail investors.
Translate business goals into user-focused narratives and campaigns that improve awareness education activation and retention.
Define and maintain Paytm Moneys brand voice that is conversational confident and empowering across all channels.
Partner with Product Growth Design and Brand teams to ensure seamless and contextual communication at every touchpoint.
2. Create Content That Converts and Educates
Develop content that simplifies investing across Mutual Funds Equity Gold and MTF helping users take confident actions.
Build multi-format content including in-app messages blogs videos notifications and newsletters.
Launch creative campaigns and content series that drive engagement and strengthen brand love.
Balance creativity and performance to ensure every communication drives awareness activation or retention.
3. Drive SEO-Led Content Growth
Build and lead Paytm Moneys SEO strategy to increase organic visibility and reach high-intent users.
Create keyword-driven content calendars aligned with product launches and investor trends.
Collaborate with tech and marketing teams to ensure all content is optimized for discovery and performance.
Monitor and improve rankings traffic and conversion from organic channels.
Use SEO insights to guide overall content direction and planning.
4. Strengthen Lifecycle Communication and Retention
Lead CRM and lifecycle communication across email WhatsApp push and in-app channels.
Create personalized behavior-based journeys that improve retention and reactivation.
Use storytelling and education to drive deeper engagement and long-term trust.
5. Manage Mentor and Collaborate
Manage a team of writers and communication specialists while remaining hands-on for key projects.
Collaborate with agencies SEO experts and internal design teams to ensure consistency and quality.
Build a culture of creativity accountability and measurable outcomes.
6. Measure Learn and Optimize
Define KPIs for each initiative including engagement CTR retention uplift organic reach and conversion.
Analyze data to refine messaging tone and channel strategy.
Build performance dashboards to ensure clarity and visibility on results.
Who You Are
6 to 12 years of experience in consumer communication content marketing or brand strategy preferably in fintech BFSI or consumer internet.
A storyteller who can turn insights into narratives that connect emotionally and drive measurable results.
Proven experience in SEO-led content growth including keyword planning analytics and blog optimization.
Excellent writing and editing skills with strong command over English and brand tone.
Experience managing a small team or external partners while contributing individually.
Familiar with CRM and SEO tools such as CleverTap MoEngage Ahrefs SEMrush and Google Analytics.
Curious analytical and deeply focused on the consumer journey.
