Position Summary

The Enrollment Experience Manager transforms student academic success through specialized high-touch academic advising career development and experiential learning coordination for specific program populations. This advanced role combines strategic enrollment management with program-focused student development leveraging AI-powered analytics and personalized engagement to optimize academic outcomes and career readiness within designated academic departments.

Unlike the broader institutional focus of Student Success Coordinators Enrollment Experience Manager provide expertise and intensive support for specific program cohorts focusing on academic advising career pathway development and experiential learning opportunities tailored to distinct professional fields and industry requirements.

Working with Banner SIS Slate/Salesforce CRM industry-specific platforms and AI this position serves as the primary academic success partner for students within assigned programs providing comprehensive degree planning career coaching and professional development coordination while leveraging predictive analytics to maximize retention and completion rates.

This position reports to the Assistant or Associate Director of Enrollment Experience and works collaboratively with academic directors student services teams and technology partners. The role serves as a strategic partner in enrollment management while leading technology integration and AI process optimization initiatives.

Essential Functions

Program-Focused Academic Advising & Success (40%)

  • Specialized Academic Coaching: Provide high-touch personalized academic advising using AI-enhanced tools to monitor student progress within specific programs identify at-risk learners and implement targeted intervention strategies
  • Strategic Degree Planning: Create personalized academic roadmaps using AI-powered course mapping systems that align with program-specific career objectives industry requirements and optimal graduation timelines
  • Program Retention Management: Leverage Banner SIS integration and program-specific analytics to track academic performance predict retention risks and implement specialized support interventions
  • Academic Probation Specialization: Collaborate with Student Success Coordinators on academic probation cases while providing program-specific expertise and specialized recovery planning

Career Development & Industry Engagement (30%)

  • Professional Pathway Coaching: Provide specialized career counseling and professional development planning tailored to specific industries and career tracks within assigned programs
  • Experiential Learning Coordination: Develop and manage internship programs capstone projects and industry partnerships that provide real-world application opportunities for program students
  • Industry Network Development: Cultivate relationships with professional organizations industry leaders and employers to create networking opportunities and career placement pathways
  • Alumni Career Support: Coordinate career services and professional development opportunities for program graduates maintaining long-term career success partnerships

Strategic Enrollment & Engagement (20%)

  • Program-Specific Recruitment Support: Partner with Student Success Coordinators to provide specialized insights for prospective students considering specific programs offering expert guidance on career outcomes and industry trends
  • Yield Management: Implement targeted retention strategies for enrolled students within assigned programs using predictive modeling to identify and address program-specific success factors
  • Student Experience Optimization: Analyze program-specific findings from college-wide student experience surveys administered by Student Success Coordinators implementing targeted improvements and interventions
  • Lifecycle Management: Serve as primary academic success contact throughout the student journey while coordinating with institutional support services for comprehensive student care

Technology Integration & Process Innovation (10%)

  • AI-Enhanced Advising Tools: Use analytics platforms and provide feedback on system effectiveness automated alert systems and predictive modeling tools specific to academic success and career readiness
  • Program Data Analysis: Conduct specialized analysis of program-specific metrics including graduation rates career placement outcomes and employer satisfaction to inform continuous improvement
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Student Success Coordinators academic directors and industry partners using shared insights to optimize program effectiveness and student outcomes

Knowledge Skills and Abilities

Technical Competencies

  • Proficiency with CRM systems (Slate preferred) Student Information Systems (Banner) and AI-powered enrollment technology platforms
  • Experience with predictive analytics data visualization tools and automated communication systems
  • Understanding of AI applications in education including chatbots automated workflows and predictive modeling
  • Background in adult education professional studies or continuing education environments
  • Professional development in data analytics business intelligence or educational technology
  • Experience working with non-traditional or working adult learner populations
  • Knowledge of federal financial aid veterans affairs and international student regulations

Analytical & Strategic Skills

  • Strong analytical abilities with experience interpreting complex data sets and translating insights into actionable enrollment strategies
  • Ability to use AI-powered dashboards forecasting models and performance analytics for strategic decision-making
  • Experience with A/B testing methodologies and continuous improvement processes

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for building relationships with diverse adult learner populations
  • Experience with developmental and high-touch academic advising approaches that support student success
  • Strong customer service orientation with focus on exceptional student experience delivery

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in enrollment management student recruitment academic advising or related field with demonstrated success in meeting performance goals
  • Bachelors degree in higher education administration business or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • 4-5 years of experience in enrollment management student recruitment academic advising or related field with demonstrated success in meeting performance goals
  • Masters degree in higher education administration business or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Professional certifications in project management operations or related areas

Working Environment

  • Standard office environment.
  • Unexpected interruptions occur often and stress level is moderate to high.
  • Noise level is quiet to moderate.

Physical Activities

  • Ability to work in front of a computer for extended periods of time.
  • Occasionally required to move about the office/campus.

Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

Salary Range

The salary range for this position is $ (possible adjustment based on experience).
