Were looking for a UI Manager for the Gameplay & Monetisation domain in Candy Crush Soda Saga to help define how millions of players experience Soda every day.
Youll lead a small talented team of UI Designers to craft interfaces that make Soda feel clear delightful and alive. From first concept to in-game implementation youll shape the visual language of features that drive engagement progression and monetisation.
This role is part of the Gameplay & Monetisation leadership team a 50 person group focused on evolving Sodas core experiences. Youll play a key role in turning complex systems into simple joyful interactions that feel unmistakably Soda.
Lead mentor and develop a team of UI Designers working across gameplay economy and monetisation features.
Define and uphold the visual direction for UI in close partnership with the Creative Director and other design leads in Soda.
Guide your team through the full process from UX translation to polished in-game execution.
Ensure all interfaces balance player clarity brand personality and business goals.
Champion visual consistency and usability across every touchpoint maintaining and evolving our design systems.
Collaborate closely with UX Game Design Product and Engineering to bring features to life smoothly and efficiently.
Drive craft excellence and workflow improvements that let great design scale.
Proven experience designing and implementing UI for mobile or live-service products ideally in games or interactive entertainment.
Demonstrated people-leadership ability with experience nurturing and growing design talent.
Expertise in visual communication layout typography motion and interaction design.
Skilled at taking features from concept to high-fidelity mockups and through to final implementation.
Familiarity with Unity or similar game-engine workflows.
Strong eye for detail quality and player impact.
Collaborative and pragmatic you love turning creative ideas into shipped experiences.
Bonus:
Experience designing UI for monetisation economy or live ops systems.
Knowledge of shaders animation systems or technical UI pipelines.
Background in visual design illustration or motion graphics.
