Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Full-Time Cook to join our culinary team. You will play a crucial role in preparing high-quality meals while maintaining a clean and efficient kitchen environment.
- Prepare and cook a variety of hot and cold dishes according to recipes and production sheets
- Assist in batch cooking items to ensure optimal food quality and consistency
- Maintain proper food handling safety and sanitation standards in compliance with health regulations
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient food preparation and service
- Instruct kitchen attendants regarding menu offerings and changes
- Monitor and maintain appropriate inventory levels of ingredients and supplies
- Clean and sanitize work areas equipment and utensils throughout the shift
- Assist in menu planning and suggest new recipes or improvements to existing dishes
- Adapt to changing needs and priorities in a fast-paced kitchen environment
Qualifications :
Pre-Employment Background Check Required
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to read understand and follow recipes and production sheets accurately
- Basic math skills for measuring ingredients and adjusting recipe quantities
- Culinary school training ServSafe certification or other relevant education are a plus
